Marti Harris

Marti has been singing since she was a child.  Known as Marti Mann before she was married – she sang with her family group called the “Mann Clan”. Her Aunt Nell, a music teacher, was the leader/director.  The group also included Marti’s 2 sisters and 2 of her cousins.
They sang at state festivals, churches, talent shows and the Tulsa State Fair.

She was fortunate enough to have excellent private professional training starting in the 7th grade with world renowned Broadway star Maryann Cook, (The King and I).

Marti was very involved in music at Blackwell High School, singing solos, performing in show choir and musicals.  She won the “Maude Bryant Award” as the most outstanding vocal student awarded to a deserving senior.

She performed with the “Heaven Generation Singers” an acappella group from Tulsa – they traveled across the country and made several recordings.  Singing in weddings and holiday events also keeps her busy.

On a personal level — Marti has a Master’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma, (Human Relations) and works as an Sr. Client Associate for a major financial institution.  Her best and most important job is being mom to Claire.
