Formed in 2002, Something Steel features the music of the islands with
steel drum sounds, guitars and percussion. The members of the band played
professionally around Oklahoma for many years before forming the group,
each having a background and degree in music. Something Steel's music will
get your body moving with rhythms from the Caribbean and South America;
they will involve you in a conga line, limbo or even performing with the
band on a steel instrument.
Something Steel performs at many outdoor festivals, private parties and
annually at Driller Stadium for Jimmy Buffet night. The group is Steve
Craft, Russell Grant, Chris Harris, Marti Harris, David John and Greg Spears.
